The location of the property provided us with the opportunity to enjoy the peacefulness of the area while still being close to the cosmopolitan town of Fira. The cave house itself was cozy and charming, and we were pleasantly surprised by how cool it remained despite the outside heat. The beds were comfortable, and the showers worked perfectly. We were also impressed by the cleanliness of the cave and the well-maintained pool. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional hospitality of the host, Vasilis, and his brother. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Vasilis even offered to give us lifts to and from Fira, making it easier for us to explore the town with our children. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room every morning, providing a great start to our day. We highly recommend Cally Cave House for families looking for a memorable stay in Santorini.
For dads, it would be great to have a bigger mirror in the accommodation, like a full-length mirror. Other than that, there were no other downsides to our experience at Cally Cave House.

Staying at this unique accommodation was like stepping back in time and experiencing the original Santorinian way of living. The fully renovated traditional Cave House transported me to a different era, where I felt like a real Goddess of Santorini amidst the beautiful design of super long dresses and the amazing background of blue domes.
Limited local amenities.

The Jacuzzi suite at Cally Cave House was absolutely amazing! It felt like a cozy retreat with all the bells and whistles. Being able to soak in the jacuzzi after a long day of exploring Santorini was pure bliss. It created the perfect ambiance for relaxation and unwinding.
Personally, I found the lighting in the Jacuzzi suite a bit too dim for my liking. But hey, that's just my preference, and I know others might appreciate the cozy atmosphere it creates.

My stay at Cally Cave House in Fira was truly exceptional. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the owner Vasillis and his brother, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and happiness throughout my entire stay. The decoration of the hotel was tasteful and charming, bringing out the authentic Santorinian way of living. The general areas of the hotel were clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible for senior people like myself. I felt safe and cared for at all times.
If I could ask for one improvement during my vacation as a senior person, it would be to have locks on the bathroom doors. This would provide an added sense of privacy and comfort for guests staying at Cally Cave House.

Beautiful large rooms with 2 bathrooms providing privacy for multiple guests. Awesome breakfast delivered every morning. Clean pool and courtyard.
Location requires uphill hike or car rental for convenience. A/C unit doesn’t reach the bedroom.

The accommodation was surprisingly spacious, with a large main bedroom and ensuite bathroom. the cave houses were beautifully designed and fully renovated, providing a clean and comfortable stay. the hosts were helpful and arranged airport transfers, making the stay hassle-free.
The hot tub had a green residue that affected its cleanliness, which was off-putting.

As a senior woman, I truly enjoyed my stay at Cally Cave House in Fira. The decoration of the hotel was charming and it made me feel like I was staying in a traditional Santorinian home. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and provided a cozy atmosphere to relax in. Additionally, I found the hotel to be easily accessible for senior people, with smooth pathways and no stairs to navigate.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation better for senior people, it would be having more assistance available from the staff. Although the children working there were friendly, it would have been helpful to have more support in carrying our luggage or providing any necessary assistance for older guests.

My partner and I recently stayed at Cally Cave House for a romantic getaway. The uniqueness of having two caves side by side with our own private pool was truly one-of-a-kind. The location was fantastic, with easy transportation provided to and from the airport and even help arranging ATVs for exploring the island. The housekeeper, Sophia, was exceptional and the host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The property itself was almost new, offering spacious rooms and bathrooms. It's built inside a small mountain, giving it a cave-like charm. We also appreciated the peacefulness of the location and the availability of free private parking. a perfect place to stay with all the necessary amenities and wonderful hospitality.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

The Jacuzzi suite at Cally Cave House was just perfect for a group of friends like us! It provided the ideal refuge for our holiday, allowing us to simply enjoy our time together. The Jacuzzi was a major highlight, offering relaxation and fun all in one.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the decor in the Jacuzzi suite. However, I understand that others may still find enjoyment in it, as beauty is subjective.

I absolutely loved the decoration of Cally Cave House. It had a charming and cozy feel to it, with beautiful traditional Santorinian elements throughout the accommodation. The general areas, such as the pool area, were also well-maintained and provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with no steep hills or difficult paths to navigate.
The only thing I would have asked for a better vacation for senior people is a bit more assistance from the children working there. While the staff was friendly, I would have appreciated some extra help with carrying luggage or assistance with transportation.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming cave house in a quiet location. the host, Vasilis, went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. He picked me up from the port, took me to various places, and even dropped me off at the port the next day. the accommodation was clean, well-appointed, and had a lovely small swimming pool. the hosts were extremely accommodating and made me feel like part of their family.
I am grateful for their hospitality and would highly recommend staying here to everyone. Cons: No complaints at all, everything was perfect!

I was really excited to visit the Megaro Gyzi Museum in Fira, so I chose to stay at Cally Cave House for its convenient location. The hotel surprised me with their excellent maid service and the change of sheets and towels every 3 days. This really added to the comfort of my stay. Additionally, I loved being close to the modern center of Fira, which offered a wide range of travel agencies, banks, and bars.
One minor drawback of my experience at Cally Cave House was its location at the bottom of a steep hill into the town. While this wasn't initially a problem for me as a gym goer, it became quite challenging to walk into town daily in the heat.

The private pool and friendly staff made for a unique and enjoyable stay. Generous mum served delicious food from her own garden.

The rooms were so spacious, perfect for our squad of friends. We had 2 bathrooms, no more fighting for the shower! And the beds were huge, like seriously, we could all fit in one bed and still have space to spare. The best part was the free transport to Fira, we could easily hop on a bus and explore the whole island. And speaking of exploring, we had an epic sailing adventure with Captain Yiannis. We raced, we won , and we felt like absolute bosses on the water. It was the highlight of our trip!
Alright, if I had to nitpick, I would say that the only thing missing was a banging party atmosphere. I mean, don't get me wrong, we had a blast with our friends and everything, but it would have been dope to have a more lively vibe.
